The Bolloré Group and the development of the LMP® battery

Bluestorage is a subsidiary of the Bolloré Group. The Group was founded in 1822 as a paper manufacturer, and subsequently produced ultra-thin plastic film. It diversified its business and became one of the leading producers of electric components for capacitors worldwide.

Drawing on its expertise in thin films and backed by more than 20 years of R&D, the Group developed electricity storage batteries and solutions based on unique technology: the LMP® (Lithium Metal Polymer) battery.
